Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and a writer, who has won numerous awards. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most famous movies. Her family was an artist family from New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of artistic fields. Her first job was as an assistant to photographers. After that, she switched to modeling and acting. In her first two films, she was recognized and won an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw's 1970 movie Love Story was an international smash, and earned her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. In just three films, she was voted the Top female box-office start worldwide. In 1972 her hand-footprints as well as her signature were inscribed at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Her other credits comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and others. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw was divorced three times.
