Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress who is well-known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. That same year, she made her debut album of music It's time for Tina. Louise began her journey into Hollywood playing Griselda Walden, a character from God's little Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film received a lot of praise as well as Louise received an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. During this time she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship to Lee Strasberg as his student. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour continued to successfully juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character contrast to her image of the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she also became a well-known director on popular TV programs like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family later relocated to Toronto for her early years. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and is a resident of Vancouver ever from then on.
