Andra Day and Andi Matichak

Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul musician, as well as songwriter and actress. The Grammy Award, Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award are among her many awards she's earned. In addition, she was selected for the Academy Award. Andra isn't only a throwback R&B singer, her gospel blues and jazz roots are displayed in a way that is both effortless and elegant. Motown legendary Adrian Gurvitz connected Day and the seasoned music businessman. Day's following on YouTube increased quickly after she joined forces with Gurvitz, Jeffrey Evans and Buskin. The trio ultimately signed a major label deal in partnership with Warner Bros. It was quickly taken up by DJs and they began playing it on the radio. In the year 2015, following her signing to Warner Bros. Records she began work on her debut album, Cheers To The Fall featuring Adrian Gurvitz. The track "Rise Up" became a global anthem for social justice campaigns. Day received two Grammy nominations for the field of Best R&B Album for her album. The United States Versus Billie Holiday was her second album that was released in the year 2019 and an album that was conceptually based on the life of Billie Holiday. In addition, she was a part of The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a film that tells the story of Holiday. Andi matichak (born on August 25, 1970) is an American actress. She started out in television, appearing on shows like Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods. Then she was in the movie industry by appearing in Halloween and its sequels in the role of Allyson. Andi Mattichak was born the 3rd of May, 1994 in Framingham Massachusetts.
